Option 1: In-App Account Deletion
You can delete your account instantly directly inside the Yugora mobile application:
- Open the Yugora app on your mobile device.
- Navigate to Settings > Account.
- Tap on Delete Account and confirm your request.
Option 2: Web / Email Deletion Request
If you no longer have access to the app, you can submit a deletion request via email:

1. What Data Will Be Deleted?
Upon approval and processing of your account deletion request, the following data will be permanently purged from our active databases within 30 days:
- Profile & Account Info: Name, email address, registered mobile number, profile pictures, relationship status, and partner pairing details.
- Media Files: All uploaded photos, memory albums, videos, voice notes, and media attachments shared in chats.
- Messages & Chat History: All private text messages, GIFs, stickers, and chat logs between paired accounts.
- Call Metadata: Internal audio and video call duration, status logs, and connection history.
- User-Generated Content: Shared journal entries, relationship milestones, survey responses, and feedback notes.
2. Data Retention & Mandatory Exceptions
While most personal data is deleted within 30 days, limited data may be retained in secure backup storage for a restricted period where required by applicable laws or security policies:
- Legal & Regulatory Compliance: Transaction records, invoice data, or fraud-prevention logs retained as required under applicable Indian laws (e.g., tax regulations or Information Technology Act rules).
- Security & Fraud Prevention: Anonymized security logs retained temporarily to prevent malicious activity, spam, or platform abuse.
- Backup Retention: Server backup archives are overwritten and permanently purged on a rolling 30-to-60 day cycle.
3. Processing Timeframe
In-app account deletion is processed immediately. Web and email requests are verified and completed within 30 calendar days of receiving your request. You will receive an email confirmation once your account data deletion is finalized.
